Will you Bee my Valentine?

Timmy Thompson is a sixth grader at Mayden High School in upstate New York. All kids were doing class presentations on their favorite animals. While he was talking, the other kids didn’t seem to care and were far more attentive to the bell. The school was almost over, and Timmy’s presentation was the last of the day.

“So essentially, without bees, the world would be much worse.” Said Timmy Thompson.

“Very nice, Timmy,” said the teacher with enthusiasm.

“Bees suck ass,” yelled a kid in the classroom while the others laughed.

“I hope you get stung by one.” One of the girls said.

“My mom says bees are disgusting.”

The kids continued bullying.

The teacher started scolding the kids, asking them to stop, but they didn’t; they were spoiled brats. Timmy was upset and went back to his desk.

The bell rang, officially marking the end of school.

“Remember, ladies and gents, read chapter 25 for homework. And don’t forget to bring with you the Valentine’s list. Remember, watch out for the allergies.” By the time the teacher was done with her last statement, only Timmy was left packing his stuff to go home.

“Hey, Timmy,”

“Yes, Miss Frank?”

“Very interesting subject you chose. Bees are, in fact, fascinating. Those little bastards are so important to our planet. Yet, they have a bad rep.”

“True,” Timmy acknowledged.

“Pardon my asking, but is it true what you said? That your parents are beekeepers.”

“Yes, it’s very true, do you want to see their hive some time?’

“Sure, that’ll be great, but do we need to ensure Mommy and Daddy are okay with that? I can’t just show up to your house.”

“Of course, Miss Frank. “ Timmy said as he turned his smile upside down.

“What the matter?

“It’s just that Sally didn’t want to be my Valentine. I tried so hard to get her attention.”

“Well, she has no idea what fine young man she’s ignoring,” she said as she tried to cheer him up.

“It’s ok, Miss Frank. Would you like to be my Valentine instead?”

Miss Frank paused for a moment and innocently said. “Sorry honey, but I can’t be your Valentine.”

“That sucks.”

“Don’t you worry, we’ll find you a nice young lady to be your valentine.”

“My parents are really into bees.” Timmy changed the subject.

“I believe you Timmy.”

“Miss Frank, how about this?”

“I’ll ask them to show you the hive.”

“Oh Timmy,” Miss Frank was starting to get frustrated. So she gave in. “Fine, I’ll consider it. You sure your parents won’t mind?”

“Of course not; my parents will talk bees all day. They would certainly love you. By the way, sometimes, late at night, I can hear them buzzing.”

At that point, Miss Frank smiled, thinking slightly dirty. “Quite the imagination kids have, buzzing.” she thought. “You have a good day now, Timmy.

“Great! Have a good day.”

The Next Day.

We see Timmy arriving at school in a yellow Cadillac by the school drop-off. Its license plate says BUZZLV.

The class was already in session, and Timmy was late.

“Hey Timmy, you’re half an hour late. Have a seat and grab your math book, page 47.”

Timmy doesn’t move.

“What’s the matter, Timmy?”

“Sally, will you be my Valentine?”

“Of course not silly, I’m going with James.”

The kids all laugh.

“It’s not funny, guys.” The teacher defended Timmy.

“It’s fine, Miss Frank. They’ll regret it. Come in!” He yelled.

Into the classroom walked in the two parents. They were both wearing hats and long coats. ”They don’t want to be my Valentine; instead, they continue to bully me. And I gave them this last chance. But not Miss Frank, she’s nice to me.”

After a moment, two pairs of giant wings formed from the parent’s backs, and their coats dropped to the floor, revealing two seven-foot-tall humanoid bees.

The kids immediately screamed and ran in all directions, trying to run away from them. At the same time, Miss Frank ran towards the corner of the room.

“This is mom and dad. Don’t be scared.” Timmy said as he approached the teacher.

“What? How?”

“I told you, sometimes I hear them buzzing at night.” Timmy smiled. “Would you like to see the Hive?” Timmy reached his hand as both parents turned their attention to the teacher.

“I promise they won’t hurt you. But, you need to bee my Valentine?” Timmy laughed.

Scared shitless, Miss Frank reaches for Timmy’s hand as the parents grab both the teacher and Timmy, flying them out of the school.

Happy Valentine’s Day!
